Location: the hotel was just off church with the clock bells, Heidelberg and Mannheim and Heidelberg. It also was in the region. The room was beautiful for a baroque bedroom and the staff good. Having a shower and towels was a bonus...

The room at Hotel Roter Löwe was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The free WiFi in the room kept me connected to the outside world throughout my stay. The bathroom had a tub and free toiletries, adding an extra touch of luxury.
Personally, I found the shower pressure a little too strong for my liking. But that's just me!

Stayed in a charmingly ancient hotel, felt like I traveled back in time! The rooms were updated but still had that old-world vibe. The hosts were lovely too.
Loved feeling the constant breeze in my room, it was like camping indoors! Winter must be even more exciting!

I keep coming back because it feels like home. The staff even returned my forgotten earphones. They have everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, VIP check-in/out, and pets allowed. Looking forward to spending Christmas here again.

This historic gem was mind-blowing with its charming furnishings and fittings that perfectly complemented its 300-year-old architecture. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the private bathrooms were not a problem at all. The hosts were super knowledgeable and full of character. We loved the honesty bar and the option for a delicious dinner. The easy parking and unlimited hospitality were definitely jaw-dropping. Can't wait to return!

The interior of this old house was surprisingly beautiful and charming. the warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel like we were catching up with old friends. It was a unique and enjoyable experience.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have a TV in the room as well, just to check the weather.

The hotel is located in a charming small village, surrounded by beautiful nature. Guests can enjoy walks through the nearby forest, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. the breakfast served is delicious, with a wide selection of options available. the owner of the hotel is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome to all guests.
The bathroom, although separate from the room, is located down the hallway and needs to be kept locked at all times. Forgetting to lock it may result in an uncomfortable situation where someone could enter and take toilet paper, requiring a late-night expedition through the old building to find more.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel with so much character. The building was tastefully decorated and full of history. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even waiting up for us when our flight was delayed. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection available. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby forest. we highly recommend this hotel.
We would recommend this hotel, despite the minor inconvenience of a separate bathroom and some noise from the road and church bells. The charm and character of the hotel, as well as the excellent service, made our stay truly enjoyable.
